Our story

Thank you for visiting!  My name is Jennifer.  

As you look around, you'll see I'm a "jack of all trades".  I love everything from gardening to cooking, decorating and all things farm life - you know, all those fun stay at home mom things - everything but folding laundry and doing the dishes.  Those things - I don't love.

I am a wife of 19 years to Robert and a mommy to three sweet little girls. We believe in home. We  believe in marriage, family and living that life according to Gods plan. We believe in taking control of every aspect of your life from finances, to people you surround yourself with, to the daily things you do.

We believe in creating a life well loved. One that you love waking up to day in and day out. Some days may be harder than others, and seasons of life change but leaning into those seasons and knowing that they don't last forever and know God has placed a route ahead of you to keep you looking towards Him.  

We are finally in our forever home. Our farmhouse on a 12 acre little farm. It began as a field, and now we're creating "home". From the feel of the inside of the farmhouse, the decor, the smell, the day to day life. What I do daily also helps to create "home". Cooking, cleaning, gardening, raising Godly children, and being a hardworking wife serving my husband. It all creates "home". 

Creating this farm has been difficult. Starting with a 12 acre field, some wooded and turning it into "home" and getting it set up to be aesthetically pleasing has really been tough. But after several years of thinking and starting to place things I can finally see the final setup, and the final plan. There's a plan, and for some reason God keeps pushing that plan forward and keeps giving us the means to do so. I'm excited to see what Rockfish Farm has in store for it's future. 

 It's a dream life, and only you create it.
