Welcome to the Farm!

I'm Jennifer, and my husband Robert, daughters Cheyenne, Kalyn and Evie would like to welcome you to our little horse farm here in southern Virginia!

I grew up riding horses and like most, sold them before going off to college. I never stopped dreaming about owning one again.  After we got married and moved to Danville, VA we began our family.  As the girls got a little older that dream of owning a little horse farm grew stronger.  In 2017, we built our forever farmhouse here on 12 acres and shortly after we brought home our first horse.  Slowly, we've built this farm and our gardens up to what they are today.  We still have a lot more work to do around here, but we're getting there! We share this journey here on our blog, as well as on our Youtube channel. 

We hope you enjoy your time looking around and following our journey.  As you'll see, I am sort of a "jack of all trades".  I love all things farm life.  From horses and chickens to cooking, gardening and decorating....hopefully through it all you'll get to know a little about our family and our life here on Rockfish Farm.  Enjoy!
